02 / Selected projects & achievements

First team-owned, fully independent microservice

EcoVadis

Architected and led development of the service connecting users of monolithic legacy applications (backoffice and the main SaaS product) with a new Tableau-based BI solution — battle-testing the organisation’s replatforming effort and setting the pattern for autonomous, resilient services.

Proved the replatforming path for the org

RBAC access-control platform (ACL)

EcoVadis

Co-architected and built a role-based access control solution flexible enough to model access across current and planned products, under rigorous performance requirements, with an automated path for other teams to protect their own resources.

Cross-product · strict performance budget

Modular multi-tenant patient portal

LUX MED

Co-architected (owning technical architecture) and led development of the portal that moved new-patient data handling from manual work by LUX MED staff to clients’ HR departments and, later, the employees themselves. It halted headcount growth in customer service and became a main selling point in contract renegotiations and new-client acquisition.

0.5M+ business operations in 2 yrs · 1000+ daily users · ~150k req/day

Platform modernisation & event-driven rearchitecture

LUX MED

Led evaluation and rollout of the move from WCF/ExtJS to ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, RabbitMQ, Hangfire and Angular 4+, with independent vertically-sliced services connected by events — from development practices to operations and CI/CD. Also built culture: knowledge-sharing, documenting in public, planning for failure, safe-to-fail teams.

Company-wide tech stack shift

Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs — game systems

Pixelated Milk

Co-designed and built locations, travel, quest, banter, time-flow, NPC scheduling, requirements, crafting, shopping, party, notification and loot modules — each with authoring tools so designers and testers could build the game world without developer support.
